Juan Sebastian Restrepo is a Colombian-born visual artist living and working in Florida. He holds an MFA in Painting from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a BFA in Painting from Pratt Institute. Working across drawing, painting, and interdisciplinary practices, his work explores perception, memory, labor, and the emotional logic of everyday life through playful, surreal forms that blend abstraction and figuration.

Restrepo has presented solo exhibitions in Miami and participated in group exhibitions nationally and internationally, including projects in London and across the United States. His work has been featured in museums, galleries, and literary and visual art journals. In addition to his studio practice, he is an educator who has taught studio art and art theory at universities and cultural institutions throughout Florida.
